E:Site discovered by workmen in 1956; Y. H. Li and others from the Institute of Vertebrate Palaeontology and Palaeoanthropology, Academia Sinica, worked there in 1960.
F:Fluvio-lacustrine beds in " sands and gravels", but fauna reported from clayey deposits. Context of hominid material not clear possibly because it was discovered in 1956 before systematic work began. Y. H. G:No evidence of burial reported.
H:Early Late Pleistocene or End Pleistoccne. Y. H. Li 1961.
I:Worked piece of Pseudaxis antler in collection from this site, but from which zone is not stated. Y. H. Li 1961.
J:Rhinoceros, Presudaxis and Bubalus evidently from both zones but the faunal list is based on a pooled sample including 1956 and 1960 finds.
